Howdy from Kuwait

Kuwait 1 - Kuwait 2 - Iraq - Afghanistan 1 - Afghanistan 2

Howdy there, and welcome to my deployment page.  I will be posting photos from time to time, but due to operational security concerns, they won't show much, nor will I specify where they were taken other than the country.  Once enough time has elapsed, I may fill in some more details, but not now, and not any time soon.

Kuwait

Home sweet home.  Well, not really, but I'm making the best of my year over here.  Makes more sense than being miserable.  Life could be a lot worse than it is; we enjoy a decent quality of life here for a deployed environment, and we don't get shot at, so there's not much to complain about, relatively speaking.

What can brown do for you?

When Kuwaitis camp out for
half the year, spring camps

The Gulf

Most of Kuwait is less than an hour from the Persian Gulf, but it might as well be on the moon most days if you're restricted to post for security reasons.  Every once in a while, our duties take us near the water, so we try to make the most of it when they do.
